I made these to hang in my daughter Hazel’s room over her crib using some left over fabric from the quilt and curtains I made for her. This a simple little project that’s very rewarding for those of us who like instant gratification (me! me!)
Materials:
-Embroidery hoop
-fabric
-scissors
Directions:
1. Lay the inside of the embroidery hoop over your fabric and decide where you want the pattern to be.
2. Cut your fabric about 1 inch bigger than the hoop.
3. Place your cut circle of fabric on top of the inner hoop.
4. Put the outer hoop over top of the fabric and the inner hoop and tighten the knob a bit.
5. Flip it over and pull on the fabric until it is nice and tight, then tighten the knob as much as you can.
6. Trim the excess fabric. (you may want to finish the edge with fray stop or by taping it down but I’m really not worried about it)
